Au Revoir & Bon Jour

We keep saying hello and good bye everyday in our lives, and this time around, I would like to say Bon Jour to 2007.Hariah said it is going to be a wild year for me. I guess it would. From series of major overhaul to the financial administration of Training Division and looking forward for career enhancement, I think my to do and to achieve list are endless.

2007 is going to be a full year for me. This year, I'm taking a very laidback approach on every thing.Right from DPA, shifting to new apartment, furniture collection, reading stuff and finally end the year with new proposals, new strings of network and vacation.

On 2006, I think I have finally see myself taking things in better perspectives.

For the previous years, I used to be oblivious and overly ambitious, but now I'm slowly brushing off my habits and norms and work on rebranding. Haha. Yeah, I used to be so interested in studying branding before and now I think the best product to try on would be just me.

and on 2006, I bounced back and found new love. I think it has been the craziest one year in my life, where I learn to be more relax and just let the fate and luck find me.

DPA made me a stronger person. and coming back to JPA and working on new ideas made me see the bright prospects on being an administrator. I just found the biggest leap of my life.

and my girlfriends,we stick together from the moment we entered the uni, graduated, catfights and coldwar, sweeping the dirty things right under the carpet and still until today, when everyone holding close to the best career , regardless relationship mishaps and heartbreak and we still remain close as ever.

my parents have now beginning to see me as more than just their little girl.my brothers grown wiser. yeah, we still had the freakiest argument at home but we would still love each other.

finally, mr swank and me.Love has always remain the greatest strength for me.We choose to stick together. Now and hopefully, forever.

home sweet home

the first thing I did went I arrived at KLIA this morning,

I said "it was great to be back home".

Maybe the Malay proverb was right, Hujan Emas di Negeri Orang, Hujan Batu di Negeri sendiri, Lebih Baik Negeri Sendiri.

At least, I agree with that.

The whole European tour was lovely. It really opens my eyes to the wonders and charms of people in a different countries and continents. Experiencing the winter and understanding their culture, belief and language.

I tried to analyse the complexities of French,Dutch and Italiano and English and I'm telling you, I would rather trade my Arabic incompetencies with at least learning one of these languages.

I tried few airlines, subway trains and buses, trams and in city cruises.Meet many people in my endless coffee engagements. I took coffee more because its was freezing and supplies of hot drinks are gladly welcomed.

Thanks to our embassies and JPA Attaches in London and Paris, they have managed to make our trip a whole lot more easier and memorable.Well , at least I could still taste nasi lemak, nasi tomato and other Malaysian food over there.Who wouldn't prefer to be chaffeured around in London and Paris don't you think?

Having traveled to Europe for two weeks, I grew to appreciate Malaysia in a greater respect. Ask me if I would want to stay abroad, i think i have changed my mind, even though they could easily mistaken me for being a Spanish rather than Asian. Haha

I miss the beauty of our country. The cheap things. The accessible but not always reliable public transport. The food. Halal ones. The multicultural environment. We have the same respect for Indians , Chinese , Malays and other races. No double standards. The warm weather.

Remember good things also comes in small packages?

I love my country more now.

Praise to the Lord for His Blessings, we have a prosperous country and a generous goverment who funded  this whole trip!! heheh.
